The Pendulum Problem
(Coming Soon)
Why do individuals, churches, and entire societies keep repeating the same mistakes, only in opposite directions? The Pendulum Problem explores why reaction so often replaces conviction and offers a path toward truth, humility, and stability.
-
In the first section, I will explain the Pendulum analogy and how useful this tool can be to identify where we may be in the swing. We explore how the Pendulum Problem is prevalent in so many areas of our lives. From Macro-cultural issues down to an individual’s own circumstances. Humanity has a tendency to swing the pendulum, creating chaos and unrest.
-
Next, we examine how the Pendulum Problem negatively impacts our world. It stands in direct contrast to The Kingdom and God’s intended purpose for His creation. This section will share both personal and cultural examples of The Pendulum Problem in a variety of scales.
-
Once we have identified the problem and seen real-life examples, the final section of this book focuses on how to find a return to center. Being centered is not a position of indifference, but rather a rootedness in Christ that prevents reactions that can swing the Pendulum to either extreme.
